DRAGON FRUIT TREE
This tree is a cactus fruit bearing tree. It can be grown outdoors or on patio, in our hardiness zone 9b. Mature height and width is 15 to 20 feet and it produces beautiful fragrant blossoms that can reach 1 foot long and wide. Fruit is delicious, sweet and juicy. It is a fast grower, sometimes fruits the first year. Needs minimum of 6 hrs. sun daily.

Many new vegetable starters arrived today such as strawberries, kale, swiss chard, white onions, cabbage, lettuce and mustard greens. Herbs include Italian parsley, curly parsley, rosemary and garlic.
Tomatoes and peppers will arrive later in March after any possibility of frost. February, even with this warm weather, is too early to consider tomatoes.
MARCH COMPLIMENTARY GARDENING CLASS
Monthly complimentary gardening classes will resume March 17th. Sat. at 10:30am. This will be very helpful to most gardeners in our area. Terry Gwin will be our speaker. Class will conclude at 12:00 noon. Question and Answer period will follow Mr. Gwin's presentation. Bring a friend or neighbor.
